SUZAN ROCKY Kilinge cha sheria participant 2023/24

Meet Suzan Rocky, a participant of Kilinge cha sheria Project Phase 1. Suzan’s story begins during the first masterclass Life Skills, where they were taught emotional Intelligence, Confidence and not to give up. “I had no business and no source of income. I remember one miraculous day when I was around Kariakoo, I saw some youths selling water and boiled eggs. I gathered courage and called one of the young people, and asked him some information about the business like capital, how profits are made, and the challenges of the business. As he was explaining, I saw myself in his story. After getting home, I had many thoughts accompanied by fear, but I gathered courage and motivated myself, just as we were taught to be brave and confident. I find a capital of Tsh 10,000 and started a business selling water, where I was earning between Tsh 25,000 to Tsh 30,000 a day. I thank God that now my business has expanded, and I sell water, juice, chips, and chicken.”

MAGRETH SUME Kilinge cha sheria participant 2023/24.
This is Magreth Sume, a project participant of Kilinge cha sheria Phase 1, her story begins during the TOT where she used to produce food spices like Tea masala, Mchuzi mix, Pilau masala and packed on plastic bags. Her story changes after she attended a series of masterclasses, business modal Canvas was like a wake-up call to her where they learn Branding and packaging. “Before the masterclass I was producing spices and packing on the plastic bags or on used bottles picked from stress, it was unsafe, unremarkable if someone would bought my product would not remember whose the products is but also some customers used to put the products on a nose to smell in order to determine the type of product because I packed the all of my products without labels so it they was unknown, after masterclass of business modal canvas I realized that I should label my products, have my own brand, and good packaging so that to tract customers. As now I am speaking, I have my own brand (Mbiki Organic), Logo, package, and labels my products are good and customers use to call me when they finish their stock.
